I am writing to offer my condolences to your family. Death is so unnatural but God has given us a hope. Isaiah 25:8,9 says "He will actually swallow up death forever...." please read this in your copy of the Bible. Also please visit our website at www.jw.org. There you will find Bible based articles to read and videos to view for the entire family. Take care. Sincerely Avis Van
Cousin Marty whom all three of us surviving Goldin siblings: Stephen, Nan, and me Johnny, appreciated and respected and loved. He helped me and my sister Nan on legal matters and he was particularly sensitive and loving towards my late mother, Lillian, who was his loving aunt. Years ago his storytelling of early cases,
was extremely entertaining and poignant.
I was proud to call Marty a friend and a colleague. I was inspired by his work and his passion for social justice and his never-failing good humor. He will be sorely missed by the progressive legal community in Boston.
Marty's contribution to justice is etched in stone for many hundreds of people whose lives were made better because of his efforts. He was a tireless advocate for people who were caught up in a system that gobbled people up and spit them out. Marty fought that system and we are so lucky to have known him and be inspired by his work. I shall miss him.
My sincere condolences to the family.
I met Martin over almost 20 years ago and he was one of the most kind and caring person I've met in the US.
I am sure he will be missed by all.
I was a friend of Marty at Boston University Law School in the 1960’s. He worked on a number of cases with my NH law firm over the years, He was so smart and diligent and fun to be around. Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of a wonderful man.
