Dear Monica, Chris, and Michelle, Chris and I are so sorry and surprised to hear that Mark has passed away. He was so full of life! My vivid memory is of him abalone diving, followed by all the kids just devouring his abalone steaks.  Then we all camped there, including Pierce (Cameron’s) tiny sister, Deirdre.  The world is a better place, that Mark was part of it.  Pamela Cain

Words are an incomplete medium to express fully what Mark brought to all those who knew him. His smile and enthusiasm for the ocean was so contagious that even I (being of the cold water loathing Bailey clan) was compelled to join him under the sea for the yearly abalone diving ritual that became a huge part of the memories I have growing up. His smile and huge heart will be with us always

I'm so fortunate to have met Mark (and Monica)! Mark was the kind of person who gave everything his best and then some!  100% of himself went into all he did - his family, business, scuba, abalone diving, woodworking, friendships - everything.  He was sincere, caring and generous, and his always smiling self will be missed.  Rest in Peace and Comfort, Mark!

Mark was a special joy filled friend whose smile could light up the room.  Our family Camping trips to the Mendocino Coast were the summer highlight for decades.  Mark showed nothing but love and respect to all.  His courage in the water and in life was inspiring to those who knew him.  His spirit,  attitude, caring, loving "Conan" hugs and kisses will be remembered by the Bailey Clan.

Mark, Babe, save a place for me on the stern of that special fishing boat in the sky. Love you my brother, Tommy T.

Dearest Mark, Monica and Family;  I could write a book about our experiences together and the love you brought us throughout our lives. You and Monica created our Mendocino Tribe as our children grew and then the "Abalone Reunion" to bring us all back together. But here I will just say I know you are content and you are with us every day. Suki Tutthill

Captain, our Captain...you led our crew, (with babies and their babies),to yearly gatherings that remain mileposts. Your laughter will forever echo along the north coast and your spirit will join us around our fires. You will be missed, but never forgotten. Thanks for the Love.

Decades ago we met Mark, and his wonderful smile. We did countless real estate transactions, all without a glitch. But more than that, he became a great friend. He shared his cheerful attitude and optimism with us so many times through the years, we will always be grateful to have known him. His smile will live with us forever.
Peace and Love good buddy.  Joey & Linda Piscitelli

To Monica, Michelle, Chris and Mark, my dear friend, my soul kin.  So much life and spirit you gave to everyone you knew Mark. That I was one of the many that were in your life is an honor; a love that I’ll carry with me forever.  Days have passed since I’ve been able to find words to express here.  Feelings, emotions, so hard to put into words.  But your smile, your kindness, always, your spirit lives on and grows stronger each day.  This being the gift of life you left with us that goes on; laughter and love with glowing integrity; this gift you gave in your life and with your passing to all.  So much love.
May you rest in God’s Peace. I have no doubt you are. xoxox  With all my love, Jeri Griffin
