I had the privilege of knowing Marilyn for a number of years.  The day before she passed from this life to the next, I spent an hour with her.  I recited Scripture, sang Gospel songs, and prayed with her.  She visibly relaxed and mouthed "thank you" to me.  Thankfully, we both knew she was ready to meet her Lord in the absence of a miraculous healing.  May God comfort those who mourn her.
