This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Mamie L. Bew.
With all the smiles you brought me, I never thought you could cause so many tears. Love you momma, you will be missed
You will be miss Mamie, thank you for always being nice to me R. I. P.
I never had the chance to meet you but you must have been a great lady to raise such a good man like your son Roman. May you rest in peace and my prayers are now with your family and loved ones.
I met Mamie when I was 21 years old when she came to work with me at the Baptist Foreign Mission Board. We became such great friends, and I always heard great stories about Roman and her family. We kept in touch for many years and one day my mail was returned from her. I figured she had moved. Oh what a beautiful Christian friend who always kept me laughing. Sincerely, Donna Kanode
I enjoyed my visits with you at Beth Shalom. I know you are at peace and rest basking in God's glory. I hope the family will contact me if there is anything I can do on behalf of the Hatcher Church family.
I have great memories RIP momma Bew.
Aunt Mamie was always a beautiful lady on the inside and the outside. Growing up, I don't ever think I heard her say a harsh word about anyone.

Mom and I will always remember the trips we took with Mamie and going out to eat on Wednesday nights. Mom knew her for over 50 years and I knew her all my life and thought of her as a God Mother. It was good to spend time with her during her final hours. We will never forget Miss Mamie. Love and blessings to you all. Phyllis Carter and Bonnie McRae
