Dear Family,
I just found this site and am very saddened to learn on Dan's death. We met at U.S.N.H. St  Albans in 1967 , when we were both patients there. In 1982 he became god-father for my younger son : Tristram M. L. Carver.
I will continue to cherish his memory and friendship.

Thinking of my time at the Naval Command College,  One of my favorite memories was learning to sail from Dan.
It has changed my focus and been the source new friendships and experiences . Dan's enthusiasm and sense of fun was always evident and it is obviously still a fond memory.
