Larry was instrumental in getting our beautiful old white oak tree designated a Arlington Notable Tree.  Because of this, my children who were young at the time, got a great civics lesson by attending the County board meeting and being given a certificate and plaque.  I'm thankful to have known Larry through the Donaldson Run Civic Association and will remember his impact on our family.
