Lanny was a respected colleague of mine for 22 years and, more importantly, a good friend for more than 50 years. His chemical expertise, his photography, his teaching skills, his demeanor and caring nature - all good! Very good!  He will be sorely missed.

We were friends from the age of about 9 and he was 8&1/2 and we kept in touch all these years. He was very dear to me.  There were about 7 families in our neighborhood who always did things together. Trips to the Russian River in the back of a truck were among our favorite memories. He was a kind, gentle, intelligent soul who I will miss forever. We shared a lot of laughs together.

Lanny was always nice to Wayne and me, especially during your Christmas parties. The trains were always a treat on your trees. Even tho I didn’t know Lanny that well, he was always a gentleman and a kind person to me.
