I first met Conrad in the fall of 1974 in our freshman year at Brooks School in Thorne House dormitory.  Conrad's social acumen immediately earned him many friends. He blended in seemlessly and effortlessly.  He was intelligent, generous and kind with a slightly mischievous sense of humor.  The Brooks Class of 1978 will miss him. Blake Auchincloss '78
