Kimmie was such a sweet girl.  The knowledge that she had to endure the suffering of such an ugly disease as cancer just breaks my heart.  While she was my niece, she only called me Aunt Carmen jokingly because we were so close in age.  My memories of her are precious.  I know that in heaven she is catching up with those in our family who have gone before her.  Rest in sweet peace Kimmie.
