Julia was a treasure and the Galleher family was blessed to know her, if only for a few years.  We had the good fortune of Joyce Galleher meeting Julia at the Anchorage Pioneer Home.  Julia and Joyce spent many a meal trading stories of life between Nome and Kasaan.  Julia wrote down Haida words that Joyce carried in her wallet.  Julia was a spirited delightful woman.
