I am missing my one and only sister Joyce. She was a light in our lives who loved adventures traveling. She loved " getting away". My sister came to visit me when I was building a house in Colorado, and we explored the Sangre de Cristo Mts. with her. She loved the local crafts at the gallery. We took her to the Rio Grande river in Taos and had the best time. It was a great time for all.
Remembering Joyce with love for her warmth and heart. Celebrating her life and all those she touched.
Today, I have lit a candle celebrating my cousin's life. When I was 10 years of age, Joyce picked me up at our Bklyn home and we rode the train into Manhattan. She took me to visit the American Museum of Natural History. We spent the day there. As an emotionally troubled child, this experience opened me to the world around me. When I visited her in July, I shared this and she remembered.
