You were such a light, Max. I’ll miss you so much.

Max was as good a son as could be. He was kind, loving, sweet and put others needs ahead of himself. When he had his own children he was an amazing, loving father. As a special needs teacher he really blossomed into a caring, intelligent and giving person. Everyone loved him.  He was a bright light in my life and many others.
Love you always, Dad

Max was more than just my brother, he was and always will be my best friend. When I needed the courage to make difficult decisions he was there. No matter what was wrong he was there with love and constant support. I Don't think I will ever meet a soul with a brighter light than Max. Until we meet again little brother.

Max was such a caring, loving, and dedicated person. I went though the masters program with Max at PSU and he talked of his beautiful wife and children often, and was so dedicated to the young children he taught.  He was truly a joy to be around. Rest In Peace, Max.

My son was a student of Max's at Cherry Park, and I want to express to this community how impactful Max's teaching was on my son. I was grateful each time he went to school that he was being shown the model of a man who was kind, compassionate, emotion-forward, and eager to connect. These were the lessons I most wanted him to learn and Max taught them effortlessly. He was very special.
