Joe and I both graduated from Boston Latin School and we loved pediatrics and the South End. Joe was a leader in neonatology. I was privileged to work with him for many years as he taught the physical exam of the newborn to our BU medical students pro-bono. Jane and I have many fond memories of Joe and Pat hosting wonderful events in their home, where Joe shared his passion for history.
