Such a blessed life John led! And such a beautiful legacy he has left here on earth--his sons, his athletes, all the love and amazing memories. He was a terrific little cousin (his Grandpa Jordet was my dad's cousin) while growing up. It was always fun to hear Billy & Johnny stories told by Edie. May God's peace that goes beyond all understanding be all of yours during this season.
I met John after his diagnosis when he traveled to our homestead on Alexander Creek with his friends.I took him to my favorite hunting spot and of course he called one in and bagged it. He spent the night and left the next day. It was easy to see that John was a special person and I was thrilled to met such a great guy. RIP John, you were one of a kind.
My deepest condolences, I will never forget Celine's big brother and what a great person he was. Sending love and prayers to all. Julia
I loved volunteering Anch West Little League with John and everyone else. A first class, stand-up friendly guy, was truly a pleasure to umpire, work on the fields, and even fun board meetings when he was president. I was so thrilled when I heard West High won state basball under his watch. Couldnt happen to a better person, sad to see him go. My condolences to Jack, Nicko, and family.
