I'm sorry to hear that Jack is gone.  He worked many years with my Dad, the Business Manager of Draper Lab, who mentioned Jack's contributions to me more than once.  I used to play noontime softball at Draper, both with and against Jack, who was a fierce competitor.  Jack told me his plan was to retire and become a ski bum.  It sounds like he did better, and got some skiing in, too!
