The Richmond bridge community will miss this eccentric character that we have not seen often in recent years. I still have an autographed copy of his bridge book, The Modest Club.

I've always missed John's outrageous sense of humor and his all-out generosity of spirit!  I still smile remembering the things he said to me, making me laugh, and our conversations in the last couple years.  We pondered life after death, the Great Unknown that awaits us all... sharing our hopes.  You are one of a kind and I will always love and miss you!
