How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man
How many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind. Virginia & John - I am a better person for knowing both of you. love, Leeann
I have many amazing Uncles, but John was the one I was blessed to spend the most time with. I have endless memories of our time together and I will forever cherish every one. He had a heart bigger than I have ever experienced in my life and made my world better by having him in it. He will always and forever be remembered and hold a very special place in my heart. I love you Uncle John
I too was blessed to have John as an uncle. His beautiful obituary is spot on. He was absolutely a Renaissance man with boundless energy and interests. Every time we caught up, he was pursuing some new lofty endeavor. His stories and perspectives were always engaging and fascinating. He made everyone he touched feel special. He lived a true life of the mind. John will be so missed.
So blessed to spend hours with John sharing hand tools, knocking dust off each other and eating our favorite sushi. We'd talk about his travels in Europe, his favorite wines, his time at Poloroid. We sailed Boston Harbor together but we never did solve the problem of how we we going to get the sailboat we were going to build in the cellar past Virginia and up the stairs. God Speed John
