If you never experienced a visit to the Gun shop you will not have a fulfilled lifetime. The conversation and his compadre’s are to die for. Joe was and still is an inspiration for personal rights and no bullshit ( pardon my German) life in the US. If you drank the cool side in politics you will not enjoy the conversation at the shop. Joe was straight forward and could care less if
You agreed. That is what was so special about Joe. An outspoken & free US citizen concerned about your individual rights and well being. A ?, You could count on Joe to answer regardless of the topic discussed with the cronies at the shop. My daily routine will now be void the optnty to experience the great times. Joe, thanks for being YOU. The “quasi PM General”, you made my days. Doug
Joe was a proud American. There is no other shop like his. His friends and customers were legion. He knew his subject matter well. After a 50+year friendship and someone to practice sicilian. He will be missed
Condolence to family. Salvatore
I will truly miss Joe and the all reminiscing we enjoyed talking about Old San Jose and how it use to be! And discussing gun-smithing.
Both life-long San Joseans Joe and my father chummed around on their Harley’s as young men raising-cain. Hahaha!!!
Gods speed Joe!

Joe was a very straight forward individual who championed our rights as citizens on a local, state & federal level....very little room for subjective interpretation; one never had to ask " Joe, what do you exactly mean by that ?"
He was a generous man with help with your guns and His work lent itself a certain degree of application.
Today I just learned that Joe passed. I will never forget this wonderful man. So full of knowledge and willing to share it with who ever was willing to sit a while and hang with him. I purchased many knives, Ammo and firearms from Joe. Every week I would stop by for a bit to get my fill of Joes wisdom and humor. We hit it off from day one. I will forever remember Joe! God speed my friend.
I was introduced to Joe many years ago as "a friend of ours" not"a friend of mine".truelyafine man!
