Joan from the first time I met you, you were a joy. Coming in every morning to see your face made me happy. I’m so grateful I had the pleasure of taking care of you for the time that I did.  We both had a love of converse sneakers and Mary Poppins. You were  Supercalifragilsticeexpialidocious. I will never forget you.

I’m late hearing of the death of our dear friend. Joan was a fixture at our ice skating rink in Charlotte, NC. She loved skating, and claimed fellow skaters (and our children) as family. We missed her and her blessed “Mr. Ed” so much after they moved “back home”.  You will always be part of our favorite memories, Joan. God bless.
