Janine was a bright light and always so cheerful! I always enjoyed seeing her at the many Croskrey gatherings. Maredith and I will miss her greatly!
Our lives became entwined when our kids started school at BK. She taught me Robert's Rules of Order in PTA. She showed me stalwart faith in our Moms in Touch group as we prayed our kids through school. J9 always added some hilarity to our book clubs. And, she encouraged/inspired me as we traipsed through our ancestry as genealogy hunters. I'll miss her passion and smile the most.
The memorial service for Janine was a private Mass at San Agustin church in Scotts Valley on Saturday, November 30th.
A celebration of Janine’s life was held at Roaring Camp Bret Harte Hall on Saturday December 28, 2019.
I miss you every single day, my lifelong friend. I am so glad we made the effort to stay in touch and share our lives the last 50 years.
I am so delighted that your life with Robert and the girls has filled all of your needs. I know how much you treasured every day being his wife and the girls mother.
You had great courage with your illness. Rest in peace
My long friend - so many memories.  Those dating years, boyfriends and your first apartment. The camping trip when you met Robert. Your love for God and family was admirable.  I was truly blessed to have you as my friend.
To Robert, Robyn & Shannon - my deepest sympathy
We met the first day of college as 18 year olds and we’ve been friends ever since. Through learning to become adults living on our own, to marriage and children—such happy memories full of laughter, fun, with a little silliness thrown in! Though we lived miles apart that bond has endured through all these years and it will forever be treasured in my heart. Sending love to the family.
			I miss you so much
