This memorial website was created in the memory of our mom, Janice "Joy" Joyce Sanson, 81, born on February 9th, 1940 and passed away on July 5th, 2021. We will love and remember her forever.
Janice and I met at Berkeley in 1960. We spent a lot of study breaks eating fries and soda at a cafe around the corner from Epworth Hall. She met Ralph, a smart law student, while there, and the rest is history. She and I both ended up in Santa Cruz where we continued our breaks, though we switched to coffee and no longer had to study. I miss you, my friend! Thanks for making life easier!
