As a fellow MVCDS classmate, I have fond memories of Janet and was delighted to reconnect with her several years ago.  Maryl Gearhart and I had a wonderful lunch together in Virginia and talked up a storm.  She was a beautiful, vivacious, smart, funny, lovely person and will be sorely missed.  Our heartfelt condolences to her family.
