The last time Dr Bell, our Board Emeriti, came to the CASA house was not that long before the Pandemic began.  She sat down at our table and while we ate lunch together, she proceeded to ask about our outcomes and plans for the future.  She demonstrated her keen intellect and commitment to our community, youth and families. She was not satisfied with a broad stoke overview.  She wanted to drill down and analyze what the numbers meant.   I was thrilled to be able to converse with her about our plans and to listen to her feedback.  Her investments of time, intellectually curiosity and her analytical mind so benefitted all of us.  They live on in everything she helped create and nurture into being better and they will continue to give to our children into the future. CASA of Santa Cruz is forever thankful Janet Bell for everything you gave us and more importantly for everything you gave our children.
