I fondly remember Ms. Bradford, not from the library at Harbor High that I seldom entered, but as a supporter of the arts. She bought a painting that I did at school. My first sale! From then on I was a fan, because she was one of the kindest women I had ever met. Later in my life I worked at the UCSC library. May she rest in peace.

Dear Jane,
I only knew you for a couple of years but because of your wonderful stories and sharing of albums it feels like I knew you from when you grew up in Colorado.
You lived out your last year at Valley Haven with dignity, gratitude and a remarkable attitude. You were a role model for me
We had so much fun! So many belly laughs. Your teddy bear Pooh is now living with me and Tia. We both miss you.
