I consider myself the favorite of all Catherine's friends among the Lane kids.  And, Jim was always a favorite among my friends siblings for his quick smile and the twinkle in his eyes.  He will be missed.  When I tell my grandson Aiden,  the "Swamp Monster" story - Jimmy will be the hero.  GOD speed Jim.

Thanks for the tribute, Alex. Our families' friendship went back more than half a century! Can't believe it! There was never a doubt about that twinkle of goodwill in Jim's eyes; required in a family with six daughters (and one older brother) ... childhood memories of him always 'up to something' and later on his projects with anticipation as an Alaskan woodsman in 'retirement'.
