Jimmy, you were one of a kind!! No one wore Hawaiian shirts better than you, cooked like you, and just made everyone feel good like you! Be at eternal peace, big guy!! You are missed!!!
I will never forget 5 year old Sienna coming over and telling me that Grandpa Jim was teaching her knife class and how to cook. You were a wonderful grandpa and loved very much. Never forgotten.
Grateful for the memories
Tell our beloved 410 hi for me.
Best carrot cake ever!!
Aloha brother
Worked with Jimmy in Denver 1979. Later in Kulik 1997. He was an awesome chef, talented musician and a great guy. Rock on Jimbo.
Jimmy and I have been close friends for decades. We fished together in Alaska for 31 years and never missed an opportunity. We spents 1000's of hours watching the Andy Griffith Show. Jimmy and I share a love of music, especially playing music. He supported my bands over the years and we jammed whenever possible. Jimmy was the coolest guy I ever met. Jimmy from the Pub was one of a kind.
Jimmy - You kept me on my toes and taught me that it's okay to acknowledge the gray area once in a while ..... and I liked that about you. May you rest in peace.
Dear Melissa & Family, Jim was very special to us in his role as Manager of Brooks Lodge, Alaska. He always made every effort to make our twice annual visits comfortable and rewarding. We will never forget his smile, great sense of humor, and friendship. Margaret and I will miss this fine man. May you too find comfort in your good memories of Jim who was a positive influence on so many.
My comments would not fit in the Tribute section. Please see the "Stories" section. Thanks all!
Jim was my boss for 13 summers at Brooks Lodge, and has been my friend ever since. He taught me how to fly fish and provided many opportunities to enjoy the Alaska wilderness with fly-outs to great fishing spots, and guided fishing trips on Naknek. He was a very generous and fun-loving guy. My summers in Alaska with Jim and the Brooks crew hold a special place in my heart.
