Jim was a one of a kind who left a mark on everyone he met. My father recognized him as a lover of all things skiing & demanded he teach all Metiviers how to ski. At the age of 2 (50 years ago) I was introduced to Jim as my new ski instructor- my father dropped me off & said Jim teach Steve how to ski. By 3pm I was riding the big chair.
