There will never be another Jacques - brilliant, hilarious, tender, and endlessly drawn to chaos with that beautiful grin. He was impossible not to love. To his family, I’m so sorry for this heartbreak. I’ll treasure his silly gifts and keep making his dad’s olive dish so he’s always at my table. I’ll carry his love and my regret forever.

So sorry to learn of your family's loss. I was friends with Jacques in 8th grade.  I always enjoyed bumping into him around Anchorage after high school--the last few times with his daughter in tow.  I will always remember him as a smart, thoughtful, funny, and fun-loving guy.  He will be missed by countless people.  Thanks for the good times, Jacques!!

Just saw the obituary for Jacques. I worked at the auction site and he was so friendly and helpful. Always gave me rides home and talked endlessly about his family. Cora was my companion at the office. I thought about him from time to time, I'm very sad he's no longer with us.
