I first met Jacqueline in 1955 at LBCC. Before she married, we had some memorable adventures, including a long road trip after the death of her Aunt Rosemary, bringing Jacqueline’s red convertible back to California from Rutgers University, where she had been employed. We kept in touch through the years. Our last talk was about Ron’ s brother, Bobby, being in Hospice care at her house.
She had sustaining faith, which must have comforted her at the end of her life. Wayde, she was so proud of you, and glad for the family and life that you’d created.
I met Jacqueline at the graduate program of the Stanford University Department of Communication. She appeared in two of my student films. One was at an all-you-can-eat restaurant and the other was at the Stanford Winter Carnival in Squaw Valley at Lake Tahoe. Jacqueline was an inspiration to me and a wonderful friend. I especially remember our lovely visits with her niece Josanne.
