It only seemed like yesterday we placed Schatzi to rest, for me this is the end of this chapter. Jack was a very instrumental person for me many times I would refer to him as my second father, indeed he was. When Jack would introduce me to his friends or even acquaintances he would as state this is my cousin, my Godson, which I would proudly proclaim. Last Christmas Eve I had my last meal with Jack a dinner which I will never forget. We had great conversations regarding yesteryears and how he loved all his children, ever has he stated this to me he nodded and pointed to his head, as we get older, we become “testa dura’s”.  I remember asking when he was going to make me his famous pickle pigs’ feet, he solemnly stated, “I do not think that’s going to be, it’s time for me to be with Schatzi.” As you can imagine, we had several cocktail’s and a great bottle of wine.
I would like to go on but I cannot, I will do that when I visit him and Schatzi grave site. Now I need a glass wine!
RIP, Love Lorry ……
