My Uncle Jack was such a kind, witty and humorous guy who always made you laugh. He taught us all the importance of family, our Southern Heritage, charity and just loving each other. He spent 17 years studying and writing our genealogy which I will cherish forever. He and Uncle Don traveled the globe and always wrote an incredible journal of their travels. Will miss him so much.
Jack always came to see and dance when my band The Family Affair played. He was a great dancer so I have been told. I bought my first house from Jack in 1974. RIP my friend.
Please accept my sincerely condolences! I waited on Jack when he ate at Jeneane’s at Pinebrook! He was a member of two different groups that met and dined there! He was quick witted and funny and one of the kindest people you could ever meet! He will surely be missed!
Jack and I were business associates and friends for many years. He was always kind and thoughtful. He always had something good to say about my Dad from their growing up together whenever we talked.
My sincere condolences to his family. He will be missed.
RIP Jack !
Jack was a wonderful person. He was an appraiser for me for many years. He always left me laughing from one of his stories or antics. He always told me my office had the best sleeping places when his narcolepsy kicked in. He will be greatly missed by so many. Prayers for his family and friends.
The Colonel Thomas Hardeman, Jr, United Daughters of the Confederacy met in Jack's house for years. We were family. He was a kind and gracious man.
Jack will be missed by many people.
My condolences to the family.
Uncle Jack played a tremendous role in helping to mold so many of us into who we are today. Family, Church, travel and philanthropy were of the utmost importance to him. Our time and travels together created some of the fondest memories of my life. He will be greatly missed and remembered well.
Jack was a kind and loving person. He was a part of my life for 37 years and I will remember him forever. He was my friend, mentor and made me the person I am today. He loved being around people and always spoke of his family, friends, church and his love of Mercer University.
Jack was a wonderfully witty and generous man who tried to spread kindness all over Middle Georgia. He was very active in the Sons of the American Revolution and had a strong interest in history and the ideals that make America a great place to call home. May God hold Jack in the palm of his hand. I had the pleasure of "meeting" Jack through emails and phone conversations periodically over the last few years. His wonderful personality and love of genealogy was always evident. I regret that I never got to meet him in person and was unable to purchase his book. He was a true Southern gentleman.
I had no idea I’m deeply saddened. This was GREAT man.
