Allen worked in our unit and was an amazing professional. He was clear on what he believed and cared a great deal about making a positive difference in criminal justice. Allen and his wonderful wife Helen were huge contributors to the Department of Corrections. Allen, well done! You will always be missed by all who knew you.

I most remember Allen's ability to teach complex math (multiple regression specifically!) to me--and I had to take basic math twice in college!  I will also remember his sharp sense of humor, and his endlessly refilled coffee cup.  Rest in peace, Allen, and condolences to Helen and family.
