Elder Hampton was much beloved by my children and made a great impact on me as well.  He was a stalwart in the faith, steady in maintaining a standard of reverence for God and holy living.  He was a man that was dedicated to the discipline of prayer such that he could testify not only how prayer changed situations, but changed him.  He taught me about our "Great Big God" who loved us so.
