When I was a kid Uncle Howard was always admired for his Alaskan adventure. We only saw him and his family once in MN when we were young. Later on my husband and I wanted to teach in AK. Uncle Howard gave us the address, we applied and got jobs at Sand Point. We were so thankful. We were so excited to spend two Christmas vacations at Chitina. Howard and Adina were wonderful hosts!
We are so glad that we were able to be with the "Kennicott" guys that last time here at our house. What a privilege to have known Howard. Spending all those years fishing nearby in Bristol Bay, tying the boats together on breaks, laughing about what Howard caught that one summer.... Sharing the love of flying and hunting. What a friend. Always smiling and laughing. We will miss you!
