Helen was my babysitter many years ago, but I still remember her fondly. What a good woman she was.

Thank you Helen Tanner for engendering in me my love of France and the French language. It was you who alleviated my being intimidated by a foreign language. I enjoyed running into you at Westminster Canterbury when visiting my mother, Becky Lee.

When I think of my years at Collegiate, one of the many lasting memories I have is of Madame Tanner. Her sense of fun, humor and overwhelming love of the students was evident. She will be missed here but will undoubtedly enliven Heaven! Au revoir, Madame. Felicia Wilhoite Ferrigno, '82
I have known Helen my entire life. She was my mom's oldest friend and I have always called her Aunt Helen. She held me in her arms when I was a baby, and always called me her niece. I remember her telling my mom when I was a teen that I was such a nice girl, but my pronouns were atrocious. For this and other fond memories I will always love her and miss her.
