You will forever be missed papa. I am so sorry I am not able to be there to say farewell to you and am not able to sing for your funeral as you wanted. If I could, I would. I miss you so much, and I am grateful for the times we had. I really wish I was allowed to come and pay tribut the way you wanted, but since I am not, I am doing it from my heart. I love you, forever and always.

Dad  there will be a empty hole  in our family  where you use to be . I have a few memories  that I won't forget.  Your home made pineapple ice cream-yelling for us kids to come down stairs and turn the channel  loved your fresh corn dish and your wild fish  stories. But most of all I have witnessed your love for Mary . Lov u Vicki

My Dear Favorite Father-in-Law,
Forever a special place in my heart you will be! I will miss you! So memories I have of times spent with you! From the first time I met you, up until our last goodbye! Looking back over the years I am forever thankful for the trip to the gulf when we went fishing with you and your brother Charles! How the huge fish you had caught that day turned out to be a jeep door! How you went on the road with us to Florida to work the hurricane storms! The fishing we did in Minnesota, the fish fries we all shared. Oh when the sweet corn was ready and you fried up your famous corn, fried burnt bacon and freshly sliced tomatoes! I remember the trip we took down the St Croix River in the fall.  All the times spent as a Family with you and your dear precious Mary! You were like a Father to me and that I am forever grateful for.  Until we meet again! With Love, your favorite daughter-in-law Roxy
