My Uncle Gordon was always such a positive light in our lives. I’ll always remember him as the happy, smiley person he was. He never missed a Happy Birthday, and I always knew I could reach out if I ever needed anything at all. Even through the difficult things he was faced with, he was always trying his best to be happy. It hurts that he isn’t here. I’ll love & miss you forever Uncle G.
Hi my Brother,
I’M trying really hard to not be mad at you for leaving me in this crazy world without you.
My brother my best friend my riding buddy my coffee mate.
Love is pouring out for you and you were so special to so many. We had so much more to do G! Love Your Sis
Pictures of just one small adventure out of a lifetime of countless fun times and memories! I'll never forget the great times we had together... Adventuring around California and Mexico in our young days, and later, barbecues, boating, jet skiing, atvs, sharing stories....I will miss you so much my friend.
I have so many fond memories of Gordy. We met at Gold’s gym in the early 90’s. I followed his bodybuilding career and watched him excel as an innovative, uplifting, trainer/coach for many outstanding and some Olympic athletes. Gordy lit up the gym with his smile and personality.
It was not too long ago, when he saw me at the store.I heard his voice & saw his smile. He will be missed.
This is a tough one.I feel like I lost a family member.Met Gordy at Palmer HS.I left for school for a few years after my junior yr and reconnected when I returned.I heard about all his accolades with weightlifting and used him to train me.He was so talented but also had many other ideas he wanted to pursue.Such a creative thinker.Going to miss our times together!!!
I'll always remember Gordon as having a unconditionally kind soul.
our cousin Gordon Stewart is fondly remembered for his kind ways and happy go lucky life
i was lucky enough to spend times with the Stewart gang in the 1980s in Palmer Alaska lots of outdoor fun incl ice hockey at the local school .on a 2nd visit yrs later Gordon was kind enough to share his pad in anchorage I wish we had lived closer to hang out together miss ya bud
I was fortunate to meet Gordon through his sister and my very good friend Gaynor. I will always remember his smile and how it lit up the room. The most important thing I will remember about Gordon is how important family was to him. He will be missed.
Heart broken. So many gone in recent years. I met Gordon in Jr. High! A quiet, private person with great strength, presence, character and confidence! NEVER rude or obnoxious. Over the years, we ran into each other at El Toro, Howard's Gym, Seward, Tidal Wave Books, Big Lake, Willow Creek, airports, Sunrise Grill. Always with a smile, "Big Man!!" and that iron handshake. A good man. RIP
