Grandma,

I felt anxious this morning when I woke up because I knew today was the day that your obituary would be published... In the hustle of  planning and preparation for your Homegoing Service I’ve kept myself busy enough to not be able to be still enough to really take this in...This morning, I read your published obituary in the stillness, quietness and solitude only found at the very start of any of my days...my heart is broken...my heart is so broken right now...I am so thankful for you and the love you gave me. I have so many happy memories of you! Spending the night with you when I was growing up and watching the stories together! Laughing with you because you had a sense of humor that even through my right now tears, I find myself smiling. One-on-One conversations you and I shared where you taught and encouraged me as I navigated through my own life challenges. The times when you and I would pray together.  You always trying to feed me...even when I wasn’t hungry! The are so many priceless moments, priceless memories... Grandma, I love you and I will miss you so much. But Rest In Peace assured that you deposited so much into us, that we will continue to do you proud! LOVE YOU!
