My condolences to the family. George was my first boss at Intel. I learned so much from him. And I have much gratitude for my good fortune in having George be my first boss. Such a kind, intelligent, creating soul.
I was very sorry to read about George's passing. George was an amazing innovator who I had the pleasure and good fortune to work with in the late 1990's during our C4 days at Intel. George was always enthusiastic, optimistic, generous with his knowledge and time, as well as his information about the best restaurants in the Bay Area.
Words fall short of expressing my sorrow. My condolences. George and I carpooled for many years and shared a love for jogging. So much time to share so many stories. What a warm, generous friend.
How I loved my dear brother-in-law George! He and Florence would often host family gatherings at their house. They always served a delicious feast. They were so generous to feed so many of us!
George was generous in other ways. When Phyllis needed a car, she received his old VW. When we visited, we might come away with perhaps an item of clothing or some other gift.
