Gene was a special Art Teacher and influence to me, at Tutor Art and he always sent lovely hand illustrated cards to me. In 1988 was last I visited him at home in Santa Cruz. I then entered UCSB Givertz education college at gained a Single Subject Visual Art Secondary Teaching Credential.
Gene was a lovely man and inspiration.
