So happy to call you friend. Glad we were able to celebrate you on your last birthday. You were funny, spunky and just an all around nice guy. You are missed so very much. Rest In Peace dear Gene.

I'm going through Gene's things and have found some real treasures, including his baby book. I challenge anyone to still have their baby book! It occurred to me that now I'm creating a dying book, full of memories. It is the circle of life.
