Gene was a truly awesome soul. I knew him over five years. When he and I would play tennis in Ben Lomond, he would bring his children. It was obvious his children loved him dearly and he loved his children dearly. Gene became my friend. We would talk about life and its vagaries. Gene was always positive. Gene had wonderful empathy for people. I miss him. Blessings dear Gene.
