Very saddened to learn of Tapu's death. Frankie was a beloved presence in the North Coast lineups. He surfed real good at challenging breaks Kelly's Cove and Rockaway. Taking off, he would announce "HOLLOW BOARD WAVE!" as he dropped in. Hoping he's riding one right now! Aloha,Frankie.

Dad, I wish it wasn't true, cause I love You!  I will always cherish  our last conversation on 8/5/20 that we loved each other. We were denied to talk to each other after  and  you held on  a long as you could and it wasn't our fault the way this went down.. I am sorry you didn't get the care you deserved, the outcome could have been so different.  Now memories only.  Love You
