I am so sorry for your loss. I served with Ernest while we both were at Aviation Officer Candidate School (AOCS) in Pensacola, FL, April through August 1975. Ernest was quite the character and I remember him as an asset to the class, being especially helpful with all the crazy physical training we had to do in order to become Ensigns. I returned the favor by helping Ernest swim better.
