I studied 2 years of French and a year of speech with Mr Avellar (1972-1974). While he was very strict in French class, we had much fun with him in speech. I always remember him fondly and give him all the credit for my love of being behind a microphone. Thank you for the wonderful memories, Mr Avellar and my you rest in peace knowing your life was well lived.
