Emmitt and I were students in the Political Science doctoral program at Ohio State. He left before completing to take a position at Alleghany College, and I lost track of him. I always thought of him as the most articulate and probably most intelligent student in the program. I am sorry to learn of his passing, and I am sure he will be missed by many. William Chance
