Sorry to hear of Gary's passing. I went to high school with him in Glennallen.  He was a good basketball player. Later when we lived in Anchorage, I visited him on the day he won a microwave from a radio program. In his eagerness to see how it cooked he put an egg in and it didn't take long to explode. He eventually laughed. My condolences and prayers for family and friends. RIP Gary.
