This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Ellen Mates. We will remember her forever.
I knew Ellen for many years but didn't really get to know her until I started working down the hall from her. She was a caring, interesting, funny, smart, passionate person. We talked about work but about a lot of other things too. She loved her cabin, her dogs, her patients, her children, her friends. We were very different in a lot of ways but I am better for having known her.
