I've known you since you came to live here in America and I will continue to know you until I no longer live. We have shared so much through our years; our families, our dreams, our secrets (shhhh!),our recipes for love and other foods, our homes and our many friends. It has been beautiful. I remember when Don first told me that he was going off to South America on an adventure. And then how he shined when he brought Elena to share his life in California. Elena was such a joy to meet and brought a magical presence whenever I was lucky enough to share time with her. I feel very fortunate to have known this wonderful person.
Elena will always be remembered for her infectious smile and her devotion to her family. Her spirit will be with all of who knew her and loved her.
Elenita was an angel walking on earth! I remember her sweet voice and loving words. I first met her at Lincoln when I was just beginning teaching. I remember her passion for helping the little ones. Such good memories at my time at Lincoln with the Latino crew, mexicanas, argentinas, and españolas! I wish time had not gone by so quickly. I'm happy I was able to laugh with her 1 last time
