“Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind;
In the primal sympathy
Which having been
must ever be...”
~William Wordsworth
"I had a dear friend who truly loved me into being a better person....I felt more alive, hopeful, joyful and peaceful. (Now) no longer physically present... I have to accept the responsibility of nurturing that part of myself to keep it alive and well; otherwise that more loving, hopeful part of me (will) slowly die". This quote by Sr Margaret Palliser, OP sums up Elaine's gift to me.
"The best portion of a good man's life; his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love."
-William Wordsworth
Elaine was such a gentle soul. Always ready to offer a helping hand. I was so lucky to have had the time I spent with her. She and I conected and shared so many special moments. Till we meet again my dear Elaine.
